and deserts - young veteran unemployment is up to 20% and homeless vets exceed regular homeless numbers.
Our counties experience higher than

either leased, purchased or donated for use. It must be
relatively close to I-85 to facilitate international traffic,

Option 1, A profitable vacation home?: A purchase
of a smaller log home allows for usage several weeks, per year,
while our Property
Management company rents it out the rest of the year for you. Your
purchase can be conducted
as a business venture and
therefore you can have a guaranteed SBA or USDA business
loan.
If you get a business loan, you will have
tremendous tax advantages and capability to have our
property management company rent your house all year long
and make income. You also will qualify for a SEP IRA,
vice only a ROTH IRA. With a SEP IRA, you can save 49k
per annum instead of being limited to only 5k per annum via
a ROTH IRA. Investigate these items with your CPA and
Financial Planner, you'll be surprised.
Option 2: Create your business shop downstairs (weaver, printer,
baker, candle maker, printer, woodworker,
jam/preserves/pickling, leathersmith, blacksmith,
etc...) and live upstairs! Have one mortgage,
and one set of utilities, instead of two (business and
home). Your dream of owning and operating your own
storefront, with
strong traffic, is realized!
Option 3: Build and own your own log home in our
residential section - where no visitors are allowed.
Enjoy club membership and privileges similar to a country
club relationship of swimming, dining, lounges and
activities at King's Settlement on King's Creek. Build
with confidence in the best log home builder on earth,

Preference will be given to disabled war veterans in
assisting them to open their own business with the USDA or
SBA. We will leverage our strengths in business, economic
diversity and entrepreneurial zeal to sustain a diverse and
healthy economy for our people. Our vision celebrates the historic,
tourism focus resident in the King's Mountain battle and
freedom region - a light for the world to see, hear, taste
and touch.
Geographically, we encompass
the greater Charlotte Metrolina Region across two states and
30 counties. We will protect and preserve land and water forever - for
our future - while managing our timber, encouraging ecology and planting organic crops (Website

Goals
Workforce development and
educationprograms
that are focused on preparing our proposed heavy tourism
based workforce for the projects
target industries. CLUSTERING.
Entrepreneurship and small businessare
significant drivers of the economy. Our incubation
center is backed by SBA know-how and prowess to succeed
where most others have failed. We will set the
average person free. We admit to most studies
showing small business drives 70% of the US economy
while 65% of all new jobs in the past 15 years have come
from small business.
The region and project offers a place for its
residents tolive,
play, and work, and appeals as a place to live
for professionals and individuals employed bytarget
industry companies. Our state will double
it's population before 2030.
Places that Matter:
protection and preservation of our wetlands, creeks, precious and beloved water, working
farmland, working forests, our peoples history from
Europe, the Cherokee and Catawba nations, parks and
trail development and expansion, historic development of
the Colonel Cleaveland Museum and Colonel Shelby
Demonstration Area, our mountain range
greenways and trails.
The Region’ssites
and infrastructuremeet
the needs of target industries and a growing population.
The Region’s existing talents, leaders, and
resources are coordinated so that there isa
seamless system for economic development services.
This includes support of rehabilitative services for
individuals to learn a new trade, restart their life and
own their own company. Especially for disabled
veterans returning home from the war zones.

STRONG PUBLIC SUPPORT SHOWN
59% of North Carolinians
agree that we are losing land so fast that we must find a way to
preserve metro areas, farm land and water supply areas. 86% say that they would be likely to

support increased funding if it would protect family farms and farmland. Land for Tomorrow, Independent study completed, 2009
“This is a place
of inspiring memories. Here less than athousand
men, inspired by the urge of
freedom, defeated a superior force entrenched in this strategic
position. This
small band of patriots turned back a dangerous invasion well
designed to
separate and dismember the united colonies.
It was a little
army and a little battle, but it was of mighty portent.
History has done scant justice to its significance, which rightly
should place it
beside Lexington and Bunker Hill, Trenton, and Yorktown, as one of
the crucial
engagements in our long struggle for independence.”

"They tell us Sir, that we
are weak -- unable to cope with so formidable an adversary.
But when shall we be stronger? Will it be the next
week, or the next year? Will it be when we are totally
disarmed, and when a British guard shall be stationed in
every house? Shall we gather strength by irresolution
and inaction? Shall we acquire the means of effectual
resistance by lying supinely on our backs, and hugging the
delusive phantom of hope, until our enemies shall have bound
us hand and foot? Sir, we are not weak, if we make a
proper use of those means which the God of nature has placed
in our power."
