1st floor, small private bath/shower. The, "Baby Ruth Room," features a Queen size sleigh bed and is named after President and First Lady Cleveland's first child, Ruth. It's a fantastic room featuring an original fireplace built in 1879, antique furniture and pictures, ceiling fan and intimate lighting. This room has a small, private bathroom in the mansion that was built into the walls and closets of the room making it cute, exclusive and private. You'll enjoy the twelve foot tall ceilings of this 1879 room even though the shower is not a full claw foot tub or extremely spacious we do our very best for you when cutting through the walls of these horse hair plaster masterpieces! You will also find a Baby Ruth candy bar as this is the only room to get one upon arrival! We like to celebrate the fact that this candy bar actually was named after Ruth in a special way. The bed coverings are heirloom. Also, enjoy watching the famous Hollywood movie, "Hooch," filmed here in 1977 on your DVD player (a comedy spoof film). This is the room that a major part of the gun-battle and shotgun firing was done out of through broken out glass windows against the Cleveland County Sheriffs Department. It is painted in National Historic Preservation Trust Certified Turquoise and Woodrow Wilson Presidential Creme.
